A MAN is in hospital after he was allegedly seriously assaulted in Bonhill last night (Thursday, August 18).
The 46-year-old man suffered a facial injury following an alleged assault at the Blue Triangle, Braehead, at around 7pm.
Police have arrested a 25-year-old man and another man in his late 30s in connection with the incident.
The 46-year-old remains in the Royal Alexandra Hospital, in Paisley, where he his receiving treatment.
Police officers cordoned off the area surrounding the property and two ambulances, a police van and a police car attended at the scene.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Police were called to a disturbance in Braehead in Bonhill last night at around 7pm.
"A 46-year-old man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment to facial injuries."
