A WOMAN has been warned by a sheriff to stay out of trouble after her latest court appearance.

Ashley Anderson threw a chair over the counter at the Hungry Panda takeaway in Brucehill on February 22, 2021.

The 38-year-old appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on July 18, where she previously admitted to behaving in a threatening and abusive manner in the fast food place as she refused to leave when asked to do so, repeatedly shouted and swore and made offensive gestures at one of the employees.

During the incident, she also threw shards of plastic screening.

Anderson, of Westcliff, Dumbarton, also pleaded guilty to striking the plastic screen with her hand, causing it to smash, and throwing several glass jars.

The court heard that the case was previously deferred in October last year for her to be of good behaviour, which the Crown confirmed.

Sheriff Maxwell Hendry told Anderson: "You have done what was required of you and that will be marked in a way of an admonition.

"That is the most lenient penalty the court can impose and I will just temper that with a warning that, if you offend again in the future, I don't expect you will ever get another admonition."
