A stretch of a residential road in Dumbarton is to remain closed for two weeks amid emergency works.
West Dunbartonshire Council (WDC) announced the closure on its website recently.
Dunbritton Road first shut to traffic on Thursday, January 25 and will remain closed for up to three weeks.
It is closed – when signed/required - from the extended kerbline with Dumbuck Road to the kerbline on Stirling Road (A82).
This is to facilitate emergency work being carried out by SGN.
Exceptions will be made for emergency service vehicles and those permitted by signs/those engaged in authorised road works.
Drivers are being advised that a diversion route will be in place.
Access to all property and pedestrian access will be maintained.
Diversion:
Dunbritton Road – Alclutha Avenue – Greenhead Road – Stirling Road (A82) and vice versa.
