THE festive season is just around the corner – and Loch Lomond Shores will soon be getting into the Christmas spirit in style.

The site, by the banks of Loch Lomond in Balloch, is preparing to welcome shoppers to its Christmas Festival on Saturday and Sunday, December 3-4.

On offer will be a large selection of stalls, as well as street food, a bar, children’s rides and the Lomond Shores Express Train.

There will also be entertainment on the festival stage, a visit from Santa and some Disney characters will also be on hand to help people of all ages slip into the festive spirit.

Audrey Calder from Loch Lomond Shores said: “Last year was magical, seeing everyone have such a great time and get in the festive spirit, so we’re really excited about this year’s festival.

“The festival combines all the great things on offer at our food festivals but adds some festive magic for children as well as some weatherproofing to make it comfortable for all our festival goers.

“We’ll be welcoming back lots of exciting performers as well as Cassi from Radio Clyde, popular market and street food vendors, rides and much more.

"The big addition to this year’s festival is our Frozen family rollercoaster that will be right in the heart of the festival and provide amazing views of the loch and the stage.”

The Loch Lomond Shores Christmas Festival runs from 10am-5pm on December 3-4.
